My thanks to the Lawrence brothers and those that worked so hard for this event. The presenters all did such a great job and it was evident that they put in much preparation for their tours. Phil's Camp Letterman tour was great and I am glad to have had the chance to see the field before the rest of it is gone, poison ivy and all. Gary Adleman and "Extra" Timmy Smith pulled off another interesting tour, of Spangler's Spring, complete with the totally useless trivia that we all love so well. And what can I say about the "King", Ed Bearss and his right hand man Dean Shultz? These guys are an inspiration. After the two death marches, Dean and Ed were the only ones not sweating and panting like a pack of dogs. And they were probably the only ones not intimidated by momma cow. Ed's question and answer period at the Hot Dog roast was entertaining, to say the least, and I'll never think of Dan Sickles and Queen Isabella in quite the same way again. Unfortunately, I missed the two Daves' "Between the Farm Lanes" tour but I'll be reading their book over the next several weeks. Kudos to all who worked so hard to make this event one of the most memorable musters of all time.
