GDG- Muster

Wanted to add my thanks to everyone involved in organizing the Muster, my
first. Although I missed the great tours on Saturday (while painting fences
at the Eisenhower Farm for the Gettysburg Foundation's Volunteer Day
activities), I did get to the Camp Letterman tour on Friday and the "Farm
Lanes" tour on Sunday, as well as the Friday and Saturday evening
festivities.

It was a pleasure to meet a lot of folks that I have been corresponding with
on the GDG over the last several years, and a particular good fortune to get
to speak with Ed Bearss on a couple of occasions and to hear his riveting
talk at the GAR Hall.

Special thanks to the Lawrence brothers for their continuing efforts to keep
this group going, and sponsoring such a successful Muster in '07. It was
good to finally meet Dennis, Bob and Jack, as well as Dean Schultz, Jim
Cameron, Laurie Schiller, Dave Shultz, Dave Wieck, Bob Davis, Phil Laino,
Scott Mingus, Gary McGinnis, Christ Liebegott, Chris Army, Les Fowler, Bob
George, Ed Pawluk, and others, and to see old acquaintances like Karl Fauser
and Steve Sollott.

A lot of good reasons to look forward to the next Muster.

Tom
