My legs hurt and I can't clear the "Fog of Muster' from my eyes.

Three cheers for Gary Adelman, "Extra Timmy" Smith, Dean Schultz, and Ed Bearss for some simply outstanding tours today at the muster. From the esoteric and unusual (from Dixie Cup dispensers attached in the canopy of Spanglers Springs to "Old Joe" going down on A.P. Hill) to the detailed tactical movements of regiments up and down hillocks and swales, it was a day filled with comraderie, pleasure, fellowship, reverence for the past, and education. Tomorrow promises to be more of the same with David Schultz and David Wieck leading tours of their "Battle Between the Farm Lanes" book (Volume #4 of Ironclad Publishing's Discovering Civil War America series; my book on the Gordon Expedition will be Volume #5).

To the tour leaders... Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
