GDG- Safe arrival

I have arrived in the Burg for this years muster. the weathers hot  at 11:30, and just a touch sticky. I'm alone this year, as Terry chose to work this weekend, rather than risk a repeat of last years fiasco. I miss her already. On the other hand, her salary is what pays for these little excursions. what can I say, I'm torn. there's some sort of encampment set up on the front lawn of the Quality Inn (Steinwehr). I'm guessing confederate. I'm not at all sure who controled this bit of turf during the battle, but if I remember, I'll ask Dean later. I'll try to drop a line or two over the weekend, I don't have a camera, but I'll see if I can't get someone who does to download to the group.
