Greetings
Hi Mark, Welcome to the group. I don't have either book that you mention, so I can not comment on them..However I have many books form Thomas Pubs. and can say that they publish very readable books on Gettysburg and are always worth the investment in them.

Greetings all -
I just found this listserv and since Gettysburg is a favorite topic of mine,
I'm sure that I'll enjoy being here.
I came across Thomas Publications at thomaspublications.com and I was
wondering if anybody could give pros and cons on a couple of their books.
1) Gettysburg Hour By Hour
2) Learning The Battle of Gettysburg, A Guide to the Official Records
The 1st one seems like a nice handy reference guide that could come be
useful when trying to correlate what is happy on the field of battle over
the 3 days. The 2nd one just seems like a must have, when doing some
research on the battle when utilizing the OR.
Any other recommendations from them in relationship to Gettysburg or the
Civil War in General?
Thanks, Mark
