GDG- A Guide to the Official Records

Hello Mark,

Ben Dixon sent me a copy of this work about three weeks ago and I have been
remiss not posting before now. The book entitled ŒLearning the Battle of
Gettysburg ­ A Guide to the Official Records¹, is IMHO a must have reference
guide. Ben streamlines references to the OR¹s for each phase of the battle.
As anyone knows, there are sometimes items of interest in those works where
one might not expect to look. Even the most astute student of the battle
will find this a valuable  tool to assist their research. Thanks Ben for
giving us yet one more aid to use, this has got me back into the OR¹s with a
lot less hassle.
