GDG- A battle over sacred ground

Having read this article, what are the "extra 1.4 miles" of lines the articles is talking about?  

Is this the lines in the Devil's Den area, where the restrooms are located?  Those are the only power lines I can think of, but really havne't seen much of the clearing lately.  

And speaking of uncovering things with the clearing:  are they going to leave those restrooms now that they are uncovered?  Or are they going to be removed?
