GDG- 145 Years Ago Today

Indeed George.  While doing presentations on the 1st Day's Cavalry actions
in Gettysburg last week, J.D. and I often found ourselves discussing the
amazing 10 days that followed the battle.  For many visitors only familiar
with the "Reader's Digest" version of Gettysburg, it was a real eye opener
as it is largely the untold story of the Gettysburg campaign.

Thank you for your stewardship of this important ground.  I look forward to
participating in the anniversary events this time next year.
