With the book  The Maps of Gettysburg being so popular, it is great news to see that the same author is coming out with another book on Gettysburg The Artillery at Gettysburg in Feb. 2008. This was posted on Amazon.com.

  From "NJ Gettysburg Battlefield Commision Report."  "General Graham is exactly right in reference to the position of the regiment when it halted from the charge across the field and engaged the enemy, and where Col. Francine was wounded."  The report goes on and mentions some landmarks that place the monument at the above spot.

If memory serves me right, the 7th NJ monument was meant to mark the spot where Francine fell.

Noticed this in a entry on the Digest:  "She said the only other book  she
had seen like
this was Plenty of Blame to go around and Sears new book on  Gettysburg."

Has Sears done another book on Gettysburg?
