Sgt. Augustus Bronson, 17th CT Regiment, died from his head wound received on July 1, 1863. His family was able to make the trip to Gettysburg to bring his body back to be buried in the family plot in Danbury, CT. Lew¹s great-great cousin. Ginny Gage
