Pre-ordered my copy at Barnes & Noble in April and picked it up last  Friday. 
I had the bookseller check warehouse inventory and they showed 33 copies

I just received notification from  Amazon.com that this is being delayed 
(new estimated ship dates are:  "August 1, 2007 - August 15, 2007"). Does 
anyone out there know if the  book could be acquired /earlier/ than that 
date from some other  place?
