GDG- Bigelow's battery at the Trostle farm

I am mapping Bigelow's Massachusett's battery at the Trostle farm and
could use some help from GDG'ers.

Looking at the Friend's maps, Desjardin seems to show a worm fence
leading from Trostle's Wood northward up to the house and barn. The
Bachelder maps also seem to indicate this as being a worm fence. The
Warren map is not very clear.

Bigelow's letter to Bachelder (pg. 173 in the Bachelder papers) and
his hand drawn map that is shown in Gettysyburg Magazine #5, pg. 69,
both indicate a stone wall and not a fence. Pfanz and Eric Campbell (GM
#5) both mention the stone wall as an impediment to Bigelow in
withdrawing his guns.

The horrific O'Sullivan photos of the Trostle farm (in GM #5, and also
in Frassanito, Journey in Time) do not capture the fence/wall.

The far right part of the modern day photo montage on page 70-71 of
Campbell's GM article shows a worm fence with stones beneath it.

Could it be that this 'structure' was, at the time of the battle, a
wooden fence with stones underneath?

	Comments are welcomed.
