I got my copy of the new issue (36) of The Gettysburg Magazine the other day
and as usual there were articles touching upon recent GDG threads, including
Robert Grandchamp's piece on Brown's Battery, 1 RI, and Zachery Fry's article
on the 59th NY, both of which deal in part with those units' roles in the July
2 assault by Wright's Brigade. And articles by Paul Clark Cooksey and Wiley
Sword provide additional information about it means (or doesn't mean) when a
statue depicts a Gettysburg general mounted on a horse with none, one, or two
legs off the ground and also what about those human shoes Heth may have been
looking for?
