Good job listing the claims of Hood using drugs at times in 1864.
 
Steve Davis, who is a friend of mine from when we were both on the staff of  
Blue & Gray Magazine, was the first historian to defend Hood's actions  around 
Atlanta, and he certainly changed my mind as well about his battle  planning 
showing tactical sophistication there.
 
There is simply no concrete evidence of Hood using drugs in 1864 that I  have 
been able to find.  It is sheer speculation.
 
In this aspect, the pro-Hood website is correct.
