BATTLE-FIELD HOTEL,

GETTYSBURG, PA.

Peter Thorn, Prop¹r.

This pleasantly located Hotel, at the junction of Baltimore street and the
Emmitsburg road, and near the National Cemetery, offers excellent
accommodations at moderate rates. The house is roomy and airy, and in good
order throughout. THE TABLE has the best of the markets, and the bar choice
liquors. In addition, Peter is always on hand to give attention to his
guests, deeming it a pleasure to minister to their comfort, and deserve
their good will and favor. Give him a call, and you will be pleased with
the ³Battle-field² and its attentive proprietor.
