Hi Chuck

I found what I was looking for.
A couple of things.
First, do you have the letter that Ambrose "Rans" Wright wrote to his wife
on July 7th as a part of your evidence?
I found out where this letter can be found.
It is in Vol 3 of Lee's Lieutenants in the begining.
Apparently, this letter was in a private collection and was not in an
archive somewhere.
But I was told that this is where it can be read.

If you read this letter, with all it's bravado and fluff, it still details
the route they took and where they ended up.
This is a first hand account from the guy you are trying to say hit north of
the Copse.

Lee's Lieutenants.....Vol 3.....Early in the book.
I am sure many here have that set and can read it.
I am not able to look right now because I have to go to the library at the U
of Del to look at it.

The letter was recited to a group of us a couple years ago and it's obvious
if you walk the ground, reading what Wright himself is saying about the
route and the ground, even all the bravado, it's pretty obvious where he is
at.
It was pretty amazing to hear it being read to us as we walked the ground.

Regards,

Karl

I do have my compiled research (85 pages) and have freely shared individual
pieces here. At some point I do hope to have it all in a form that can be
made available to the general public. In the meantime, I'll seek to respond
to particuar inquiries made in the spirit of civil discourse.
