It seems to me that Union sources pointing to the location of Wright's attack
are decidedly consistent in placing that advance to the south of the
Grove/Copse/Coppice/Thicket. Yet, for reasons that entirely escape me, we are urged
to ignore such accounts in favor of a theory that contends that Wright overran
Union artillery batteries whose members utterly failed to report being
overrurn, attacked, or even being approached by Confederate forces. It walks like a
duck and quacks like a duck, but we are supposed to identify it as a peacock.
