I've taken the time to explain it repeatedly and in various ways, but I'll
do so again. Their advance was almost directly west-to-east. It was toward
the two batteries on the crest of the ridge. It was along the axis of the
farm lane and fence that headed toward the Emmitsburg Road (along Fry's
right the next day). It was toward the Angle from the west.

It was on a path that took the Georgians past the south of the Bliss
homestead, past the north of the Codori homestead.

To use later reference points, it was roughly from Lee's statue to Meade's
statue.
