1863. Not a report but rather a personal reply to Hunt so that general could 
fill out his reports. Hunt Papers, Library of Congress Will be first time 
published in forthcoming work by David Weick and myself. Dwight was a formable 
character that hardly anyone knows about. He was Rorty's replacement and wrote 
extensively to Hunt concerning both July 2nd and 3rd. Nothing he suggests is 
new. Most of his work is nothing more then logistical with a few personal 
insights such as sending for ammunition while under fire.
