Yes, a good book -- and although it concentrates upon those three 44-gun 
frigates (Constitution, President, and United States) and three 38-gun frigates 
(Cheasapeake, Congress, and Constellation) built for the US Navy at the end of 
the 18th century, it does not neglect the rest of the Navy through the War of 
1812.
