A darned good basis I would say.   I bought "Gettysburg's Bloody Wheatfield" 
either during my spring visit to tha area of the battlefield or soon 
thereafter, and found it very illuminating.  Between the maps in Imhof's Day Two book 
and the animated maps in the "Travel Brains" CD guide to the battle (and with 
my improved on-the-field knowledge) I finally felt I understood the sequence of 
events.
