Well, certainly one of the chieft myths is that it was indeed "Pickett's" 
charge, closely allied with the notion that it was all Vahgininans who carried it 
out (and Gibbon's division that repelled it), neatly ignoring all those North 
Carolinian and Tenneseans, etc. (and Hays's division).
