Jim,
The online booksellers price Fox from $26 to $203. I believe some are
hardback and some paperback. Are they all the same book as far as you know,
as opposed to the cheaper priced ones being a condensed version perhaps?

Fox is one of those "must have" standard references. It's really more than
just a numbers book. One of it's best know features if the "Three Hundred
Fighting Regiments" section. There are also histories of the various army
corps, and much other background information in addition to the bare
statistics. It's a "numbers" book you can actually sit down with and read.
