I have it and make occasional reference to it; it is sort of the grandfather 
of all "number" books dealing with ACW.  Obviously, much of the research 
behind it has been superceded by later works, but it does provide a quick first 
look for how many troops fought (and died) at many, many ACW battles, including 
quite obscure ones.
