Thanks, Fred. Look like it no longer exists as a town, if it did at one
time. It was probably just an area known by Belle Plain. According to the
article Bob posted, it once served as a Rebel POW camp in an area known as
the Punch Bowl. Apparently it received a lot of attention from
photographers in 1864.
My interest has to do with the post-Chancellorsville timeframe, and Lee's
preparation for the Northern invasion in May/June 1863.
