GDG- Happy Birthday and Anniversary to Gen Meade

Hi Tom!  General Meade's alter ego Andy Waskie was there, but General Meade stayed below ground today!  It was a beautiful day and if anyone is in the Philly area, check out Channel 10 (NBC), today, as they were there filming.  Don't know if it will make the cut, but they were there.

BTW, it is also the General and Mrs. Meade's wedding anniversary.

I took photos also, but couldn't get near Meade's grave(I have lots of other photos of his grave from past celebrations) - there were well over 300 folks there.  There was also a ceremony to dedicate plaques to mark the graves of a father and son who served in the war, but were in unmarked graves.  They served in the 81st Pa.

I did manage to sneak off to take a photo of one of Eric Wittenburg's and mine favorite 6th Pa Cav hero, Frank Furness.
