OK, here's the skinny on the programmed activities for next week, weather permitting.
Those who expressed concern with my wording on the original post will note that I edited the prose slightly, in order to deflect any further distress.

Harvest of Death, Friday, December 28th at 1:00 pm. Meet at the entrance to East Confederate Avenue near Liberty and Lefever Streets. It is permissible to park on the right side of the park avenue, as long as the tires remain on the roadway (the avenue is wide enough there to allow a bus to pass on the left). Chaplain Chuck, conducting.

Furthermore, I have myself retained the services of an LBG of POPULAR reputation for a Brewster-Carr tour which will take place on the morning of the same day. The esteemed members who wish to join us need only contact me off-list before the 27th.

The tours should last 2-3 hours each, wear your mittens.

Neither of these events are sponsored by the GDG, so attendance is at our own risk.

I hope to see you all next week, and until then, (or if not) the MacKenzie Family of Bay Shore, Long Island, NY, wishes you and yours A Very Merry Christmas, Health and Happiness for the New Year.

K.
