GDG- Last Living Gettysburg Combatant Was...?

I do recall them from the 50's [there were a few humous remarks about the South "winning" this one....]  but I had to do a search [don't know about the dispute...the link didn't work for me]:

a.. Last Union veteran, Albert Woolson, died 8/2/1956, age 109 
a.. Last Confederate veteran, John Salling*, died 3/16/1958, age 112
