GDG- Early Gettysburg Structures

Although I could do the research needed myself to answer this question, I am calling out to the very well informed group here. My time right now isn't allowing alot of personal research time and a question has been running around in my mind for awhile.

I'm sure we are all aware that Rev. Schmucker started both the Lutheran Theological Seminary and Pennsylvania College in the building located on the southeast corner of West High and South Washington Streets in town. This was the building that in 1863 housed Mrs. Eyster's Young Ladies Academy. My question is when was the structure built, and by whom, for what purpose. Did Schmucker raise the money to build it for his "Gettysburg Academy"?

Thanks in advance as I am sure I will get alot of interesting feedback from this group!
