You are correct about the fact that they created another set for the 
seminary.  I forget the exact location of it, but a friend at the park 
took me out there one evening and it was on a small back road between 
Fairfield and Cashtown.  As it turned out, when we went out to see the 
set it was just about dusk and they happened to be filming so we 
couldn't get too close.  Based on what they have in the movie I have to 
guess that I was looking at that area while they were filming the scene 
with Buford writing to Reynolds for help.
