Only the scene in the evening with Buford writing to Reynolds [I think] about Ewell's Corps expected in the morning coming down from Carlisle and the "Can you hold?" shot the next morning was actually filmed at the Old Dorm. The original full version -- only shown on TV?? -  has a few other shots.

The view of Old Dorm from the west is actually a façade....shot at another location. [The current buildings at the Seminary would make that view impossible.]

   Some of the Seminary shots for the Day 1 action use that building, but others do not. If you count the windows on the side facing west, they aren't the same as Old Dorm.
