GDG- Triangular Field - Tim Ayers question

On a nice spring and summer evening, the Triangular field is one of my
favorite places, not for ghosts, but to sit at the bottom of the field and
watch the lightning bugs.  It used to be so beautiful until the lightning
bugs got replaced with flash bulbs.  However:  I am not sure if the recent
tree clearing will have any impact on this or not, but it used to be so
beautiful to watch them from the bottom of the field, sitting on the rock.

I too have gone into the triangular field specifically to see if my camera
would fail. Digital or 35mm I've only ever had one issue. A few years ago my
wife shot a photo that had what appeared to be a lightning bolt extending up
from the ground. We had the negative re-processed and the second photo was
clean. We determined that the bolt in the first photo was a problem in the
processing.

We've been out and about on the field at night many times over the years.
The amount of people that can be found in the Triangular Field at night
always amazed me.
