GDG- Ft. Donelson guided tours - Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007

Hello,
 
For any GDG members in the neighborhood of Ft. Donelson/Dover, TN the  
Friends of the Ft. Donelson Campaign will be conducting day-long guided tours of  
the battlefield, most of which is outside of the NPS boundaries.  This will  
include McClernand's attack in Erin Hollow and the Confederate assault on  
Dudley's Hill.  I will be one of the tour guides.
 
These tours are free and you can meet at the park VC at 9:30 AM and we'll  
take care of the rest.  Bring Deep Woods Off for those pesky chiggers and  ticks 
and plenty of drinking water - it is very hot in Tennessee!!!
