GDG- AMART (somewhat O/T)

Hi Paula,

Thanks for the background on AMART. What CWRT's do you belong to?

You are right about Dover not being local, but it is really just down the
road a piece from the DV area. Perhaps the organization is misnamed in the
sense that Delaware Valley may be more appropriate than Mid-Atlantic.

Esteemed GDG Member Contributes:

Hi Tom. I can't explain why you haven't heard of AMART - they have run some
very interesting seminars with some excellent speakers over the years. I am
a member of several of the member
CWRTs and have attended many of the seminars over the years. As far as I
can remember the group was started by the CWRTs that were in the local Phila
area. Dover is not exactly "local" around here. It was a way for all the
CWRTs to pool their resources and bring in some big named authors/speakers
that one CWRT could not afford on its own. I am sure there is more to it
than that - but I am lucky if I can remember yesterday, let alone what
happened 13 years ago. (Although remember something that happened between
the years 1861-1863 seems to stick in my mind!)

Perhaps there are some other GDGers who have attended the seminars who know
more.

Paula
