Kershaw had predominantly smoothbore muskets if I remember correctly.

Kershaw's brigade had a substantial number of smoothbore muskets, but the 
majority of its weapons were rifle muskets, a mix of Springfields and 
Enfields.  Woffords' brigade also had a considerable percentage of 
smoothbores.
