GDG- Monument location

I have always wondered about the placing of most of the monuments. Not the ones along specific battlelines, but rather the ones off in the brush.

The average, non-CW tourist probably has a better idea of the topographic layout than did those who showed up in July 1663. The latter were there for three days -- or less -- with lots of folk trying to kill them, and then they left and I doubt many came back for ten or fifteen years. 

So how accurate are *any* of the markers?
