Hi Ed,
Actually, it was Jim Cameron who made that statement below, not me :-)
But the point is that what has been done in Andie's case, is that in order
to make her theory fit, you have to "adjust" the evidence - hence, in order
to move the action a half mile to the south, we have to change who manned
the skirmish lines, and when Farnsworth fell. Now, true evidence must
really be ignored.

>>JD,
Im curious about what your trying to say with this statement?
>>Another factor to consider is that the farther from BRT one moves the
location of Farnsworth's Charge, the longer it takes for the Confederate
infantry to get from BRT to the point at which they were able to fire on
Farnsworth's men. Farnsworth and his men took only just so long to ride
from where they started, to where they came under fire from the AL troops.
Move the charge too far away from BRT, and the infantry has too much ground
to cover. It isn't simply a matter of moving the monument line, and
shifting the battle action to match. The time and distance factors must
also be considered.>>
According to Andie she claims it was the 1st Texas that would have been
involved in the part of the fight that she interprets was where and when
Farnsworth would have been killed not the Al troops. Any involvement of the
AL troops according to what Andie states would have been in the Slyder Farm
area against Wells troops and then the 1st VT under Preston. I am trying to
understand both sides here and any questions I have are not meant to insult
or show alliance. I'm just looking to come to the best possible conclusion,
however after reading Carol Reardon it isn't always as simple as listening
or believing the Vets. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your
response.
Thank You, Ed>>
