The ground is indeed the best classroom.  We also must remember, I believe,
that the evidence is the textbook.  The right textbook in the wrong room is
a bad combination :-)

Andie and read the article in the Spring 2006 edition of  Blue and Gray. She
offers a very compelling argument for what she believes.  Just so we
understand one another I value one piece of advice that I have heard from
many historian or student of any Battlefield, and that is to walk it. Ed
Bearss and Dave Schultz  made this perfectly clear to us in Gettysburg at
the Muster. So getting back to my question I would like to read the
unabridged version of your point of view so I can come to my own conclusion
having walked this part of the field. As we all know their is always to
sides so I would like to see your side of this in its entirety. Thank you in
advance, I look forward to reading your opinion on this piece of history.
