GDG- gettysburg field hospital

As stated before, its much easier for the Union side than for the
Confederates. You might check at the National Archives for the carded
medical records of a particular unit you are seeking. The cards are in loose
alphabetical order (and very loose at that.....), but they might have an
entry or two for the soldier being admitted to a particular corps/division
hospital and where they were transferred to. If you are really lucky, there
might be a medical descriptive list in a particular soldier's compiled
service record that would give details of medical treatment in the larger
hospitals.

Happy hunting.
