Hi Nick,

Thanks for your concern, yes, I know Madison is in Dane Co.

I grew up in WI, Brookfield, NW of Milwaukee.

My intent was to let the readers know that the 2nd WI may have been
recruited from other than just Madison, but one source only mentions
Madison.

Dyer's Compendium states that the 2nd was recruited in Madison

  H Co., the "Randall Guards" was said by Reed to have been recruited at
  Madison, while Nolan's "The Iron Brigade" has it recruited in Dane
  County.
