Tom,
The one unfortunate thing about our response is that the original version
was nearly 6000 words. Dave Roth had to have us cut it to 2000, which meant
that most of it didn't appear. That allowed Andie a much "easier" time of
rebutting our letter.
Fortunately, Eric posted our entire original letter on his blog
(http://www.civilwarcavalry.com) and in a day or two, I'm going to put up
our additional response to Andie's rebuttal (the circle keeps going on!) on
my blog (http://petruzzi.wordpress.com).
Most of the primary evidence that disproves her theories about Farnsworth's
Charge, that had to be cut out of our published letter, made it much simpler
for her to respond, and we wanted readers to be able to read the entire
original version on Eric's blog.

>>The Summer 2007 issue of Blue&Gray just arrived with sparks coming out of
the package. The table of contents revealed the cause, since Eric
Wittenberg and J.D. Petruzzi have an article in response to Andie Custer's
version of Farnsworth Charge in an earlier issue. Andie was given a
opportunity for rebuttal in this issue as well. Should be interesting
reading.....
