GDG- Question: The Adjutant

Hi Keith - he is more than that in that he has field duties - such as  
setting the color line when forming the battalion, forming parade,  
acting as a guide when going from column to battleline and so forth.  
It isn't just a desk job - he does act as an additional regimental  
officer in the field with specific duties.
