For those who can't make the muster and are in the Philadelphia area, another option is the CW reunion at Pennypacker Mills in Schwenksville, Pa, June 2-3. PPM was the home of former Pa Governor Samuel Pennypacker. Pennypacker served in the 26th Pa emergency unit at Gettysburg. The home was also the headquarters of George Washington before and after the battle of Germantown. Pennypacker is also the cousin of Galusha Pennypacker, youngest Union General. The Governor was a collector of CW memorabilia which is on display at the house.
