GDG- Monument Repairs

Does anyone know what is happening with the
restoration of the 11th MA monument?  Also, I noted
that the top of the Knap's Battery monument on the top
of Culp's Hill is missing.  Was that vandalism?  Also,
the 74th PA monument appears to have been knocked
askew from its base (again), and is surrounded by
caution tape. 

Last week was the biannual meeting of the guide force, at which 
the NPS discusses the status of repairs.  We were
told that there has been little progress on the 11th Mass, and
may not be any for a while.  The 74th PA was once again
struck by a car that accidentally went off the road.
