<< The way the book is set up is this:  Each left-hand page has summary, yet
detailed text of a particular portion of the action, and the corresponding
map is on the right-hand page.  Therefore, no flipping around to find the
map to match the text - it's all right there.  All the campaign actions from
June 3 (advance to Gettysburg), the three days of battle, and then the
entire retreat is completely mapped out.  >>

I'm looking forward to it.  In particular, for the coverage of the march and 
maneuvering phases of the campaign, which generally get only very general 
cartographic attention in most works.

I hope the timing on publication holds up.  It would be just in time for my 
birthday, and my wife does always say I'm impossible to shop for!
