so that I may ask him what his plans were (or were not) when it came to
following ol' Marse Robert's troops after the battle.

What's this?  Another Lawrence brothers Famous Ghost Tour!!!  I wouldn't be 
surprised to see Genghis Khan leading that one, given the Brothers' talent 
for such things. :-)
