GDG- Went to Gettysburg this weekend

I met Gregory Coco and first apologized to him for openly questioning  what 
he stated was the amount of Union Corps at Gettysburg. After that I had a  
wonderful talk with him, and It really was quite amazing to speak to the man.  
Whom I feel has written a book that should be read by any person who has any  
interest in Gettysburg or the ACW for that matter. The first hand accounts are  
simply bone chilling. To think that the citizens and volunteers from all walks  
of life, stood side by side with the Doctors and Nurses of both  sides. 
Burial of the Dead and helping the wounded Is the most un  glorified part of 
Gettysburg and or any other Battle. To truly understand what  war was and is I truly 
believe that this should be a part of everyone's reading.  The Battle itself 
was three days and the aftermath was ongoing for months. Sorry  to ramble I 
just wanted to share this experience.
