Thanks Margaret, We visited Madison's home in July and bought some books
there.  Although just finished "A Leap in the Dark" that spent time on
Madison and his contribution to the Constitution.

If you haven't already read it, I'd recommend The Bicentennial edition of
"Notes of Debates in the Federal Convention of 1787 Reported by James
Madison" (Introduction by Adrienne Koch and republished as a paperback by
W.W. Norton & Company 1987).  It's fascinating reading.
