I looked forward to your leading the discussion of the 2d day according
to Pfanz,  Had a couple of questions which were obviously naive--based
on the fact that the discussion of the 1st chapter concentrated
primarily on the "generalship" of Lee and Meade.  Understand why you are
passing the baton of the leadership of the discussion of the second chapter.

Who will pick up the baton?  >>



No such thing as a naive question!

I wasn't trying to "pass the baton" out of any problem with how the 
discussion has gone.  It's almost impossible to keep something like this on 
any particular set of tracks.  It's just that leading a discussion of the 
whole book would be a LOT of work!
