   Didn't think I was "Implying" anything, thought I was stating a 
conclusion.
  I'm a great admirer of Lee --- and there is a great deal to admire --- but 
I'm no apologist either. Many of Lee's actions --- or inactions --- during 
the campaign and battle has puzzled historians from the first and many of 
the questions still remain unanswered. I don't count "It's all Longstreet's 
fault" as a satisfactory answer.
